Letter: The Center for Contemplative Arts will be closing as of October 31, 2019

Many of you already know that Underhill Plaza was purchased by the City of Manzanita. All tenants in the building were timely noticed that we need to vacate the building as of December 31. CCA will not relocate, as it is time for me to step away from the responsibilities that accompany the commitment required for running a center and leading classes.
It has been my greatest pleasure to create and facilitate CCA over these last fourteen years. The space has been been sacred, healing, and supportive of contemplative practices for all who have used it. My heart fills with joy when I see the paintings on the wall from our Painting & Meditation group and when I hear comments about personal healing and when I witness the transformation of so many folks who attend and/or teach the contemplative practices at the Center. It has been an honor and privilege to serve our community in this way.
I deeply appreciate our enthusiastic students, the faithful and qualified teachers, and the support I have received from the Board of Directors for CCA. My experience has been that of a miracle with the right timing, the right people, the right classes, the right purpose for being, and the right support both physically and financially. I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. My various roles at the Center have greatly enhanced my own healing, expanded my thinking, and opened my heart. For the gifts I have received, I bow to you in appreciation.
Many of our classes will continue in other venues, so stay tuned. Meanwhile, until October 31, continue to enjoy the offerings of the Center for Contemplative Arts at Underhill Plaza.
With deepest gratitude,

Lola Sacks
