The Pirates wrestled at the Rick Herrin Holiday Classic Dec. 8 as they competed against nine other schools from larger classifications.
Neah-Kah-Nie placed sixth as a team at the tournament and had second place finishes from both Jett Johnston and Travis Bennett at the 182 and 220 weight classes, respectively. Additionally, the Pirates’ Jonathan Lommen’s placed sixth in the 285 weight class.
The Pirates will be back in action this week as they compete in the Bill Hagerty Invitational at Nestucca High School Dec. 15. Tillamook’s next competitive action is Jan. 5 at the Taft Holiday Invite.
