CHILD Ministries announces season of giving

The Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church has served downtown Nehalem and the surrounding communities for generations.

Leaves are falling; our weather is becoming cooler and wetter so we know that Christmas can’t be too far off. This is the time of the year that children begin to think about the wish list they plan to send to Santa.
Some families in our area need a little help to provide gifts from Santa for their children. This is where CHILD, Christ’s Hands In Loving Devotion, comes in. Through CHILD, and with the help of individuals in our community, Santa will get a helping hand.
Over the next few weeks you will find “tags” listing suggestions
posted in several businesses in our communities. All you need to do is pick one, shop for that child, return the unwrapped gifts to the place you found the tag, or to Nehalem Bay United Methodist Church, then sit back and know the joy you are bringing into a young child’s life.
The tags with a child’s wishes are suggestions for him or her. Many tags give sizes for clothing that the parent let us know are needed. Some have no specific request so choose a gift a child that age would enjoy. Just remember that all the unwrapped gifts must be turned in by Monday Dec. 11 and, have fun shopping.
