The Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita will host a one-day “Drawings in Watercolor” Class” class Saturday, Jun. 4, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m
Led by artist Deborah Marble of Lake Oswego, students will learn figure or abstract composition using a unique artistic tool.
Tuition for the class will be $45, with an additional $25 materials fee. The materials fee will be $10, if the student brings some of his or her own supplies.
Marble is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon and the Northwest Watercolor Society. Her works have been featured at a number of northwest events including 11 Portland Open Studio tours. She has also worked as a courtroom sketch artist for local and network television channels since 1987.
Interested persons can register for “Drawings in Watercolor” on-line at http://hoffmanblog.org/ongoing-classes/register-for-workshops. Students need to be age 15 and up, and the class is limited to 10 participants.
Registration deadline is May 30.
