At the Northwest League District Track meet, the Neah-Kah-Nie girls team was third in the girls team race, just one point behind Faith Bible, thanks to the efforts of Katie Clifford.
Clifford won the 100 meters in 13.38 seconds.
Clifford also won the long jump with a 15 feet, 1.75-inch effort.
The Neah-Kah-Nie junior speedster also teamed with Cheyenne Rohweder, Ashley Henderson and Nicole Henderson to grab a second in the 400 meter relay.
Sophomore Ashley Henderson also qualified for state in both the javelin and 300-meter hurdles, taking second in each.
The girls 4×400 meter relay of Katie Clifford, Jackie Elligsen, Ashley Henderson, and Cheyenne Rohweder also earned second place at the district meet, sending them to Eugene is Friday.
