The Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita will host a evening of acoustic world music by “Indalo Wind” Saturday, Apr. 30 at 7 p.m. Admission will be $10, and tickets will be available at the door.
Indalo Wind is an ensemble led by father and son, Eric and Jacob Walter. Specializing in eclectic instrumental music, they offer up a blend of folk, blues, classical, and jazz, with melodic seasonings from around the world. Included will be traditional songs from Italy, Ireland, and the Americas – as well as gypsy swing, Renaissance dance, flamenco, Japanese pop, and unique originals.
“Our performance in Manzanita last year was a delight for both the musicians and the audience,” said Eric Walter. “We are looking forward to this return.”
In addition to Eric (guitar, mandolin, ukulele, Native American flute), and Jacob (ukulele, guitar), the ensemble will include Indalo Wind Consort members: Steve Cleveland (accordion), Mike Preston (resophonic guitar), and Dennis Elmer (percussion).
Indalo Wind last appeared at the Hoffman Center in May 2015. The groups website is www.indalowind.com.
