Monday Musical is celebrating it’s 21st Season of bringing quality musical performances to Tillamook through the club’s concert series. The second concert in the 2015/16 series will feature Ken Lavigne, a highly acclaimed tenor.
Lavigne takes center stage at Don Whitney Auditorium in Tillamook High School at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 22.
Lavigne is a highly acclaimed tenor who, for the last nine years, has performed on many world stages, including New York’s Carnegie Hall. He has worked with producer David Foster, performed for His Royal Highness Prince Charles, and has released his fifth solo CD, entitled Showtime. Recently, he returned from an extensive spring tour that had him performing in San Francisco and Seoul, South Korea. Mr Lavigne continues to tour extensively across Canada as a soloist with symphonies and small ensembles showcasing his touring show entitled The Road to Carnegie Hall.
Lavigne has charmed his way into the hearts of concert goers across North America with his sincere delivery of ballads, show tunes and classical crossover hits in the style of Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban. Backed by his band, Ken takes his audience on a riveting and enchanting journey, retelling his personal campaign to sing at the world famous Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops Orchestra. It’s a unbelievable account of a man who, against all odds found a way to live out his dream of singing on the world’s most prestigious concert stage.
