OLCC sets recreational marijuana rules hearing

Oregon Liquor Control Commissioners (OLCC) will hold a public hearing From 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, to take comments on DRAFT temporary Oregon Administrative Rules for recreational marijuana.

The hearing will be held at OLCC Headquarters, Room 103A, 9079 SE McLoughlin Blvd., in Portland.

The capacity for the meeting room is limited to 100 people, with entry granted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker; members of the public who wish to speak will need to sign in on the provided “speaker” sign-in sheet.

Written comments will be accepted at the hearing, and can also be sent by email to: [email protected], with the email subject heading “Recreational Marijuana Temporary Rules Comments.”

On October 6, 2015, the OLCC released a Draft version of temporary rules related to recreational marijuana. The Draft temporary rules are posted on the OLCC website.

Draft rule language is subject to change and should NOT be used as basis for making business decisions.
