Nehalem’s 14th annual Harvest Festival is set from noon to 4 p.m., at Alder Creek Farm on Saturday, Oct. 1.
Hosted by the Lower Nehalem Community Trust, the event will feature:
- Lots of Local farm vendors, food, liquid refreshments, and non-profit organizations
- Dancing to the music of the Nehalem Valley AllStars
- North County Recreation District KidZone
- More than 100 local pumpkins for sale
The festival is free, but organizers said donations to help offset costs will be accepted and appreciated. They added this is a harvest fest, not a sunshine fest and it could rain Saturday.
“So if it rains, get out your rain gear and enjoy the day with friends, family, and community,” festival officials stated.
Attendees are asked to park at the lot in downtown Nehalem, at St. Catherine’s Church or at the Lighthouse. A free shuttle school bus will be available giving rides to Alder Creek Farm.
