“Tillamook Fire and Tillamook Ambulance responded quickly, and the injured worker was taken via Life Guard Air Ambulance to a hospital in Portland,” Criteser’s letter reads, “The gentleman was conscious, but had serious injuries. Our thoughts are with him and his family in hopes of a full recovery.”

While the contractor has been working on repairs to the building and the roof deck, according to Criteser’s letter, Cold Storage 3 has been closed to operations for several weeks.
“No TCCA employees are currently working in this area, and we are confident that no safety risks exist for our staff,” the letter reads.
The Safety team at TCCA, along with the contractor hired for the repairs, will work closely together to investigate what circumstances may have led to the injury, according to the letter.
“We will work diligently to ensure that the contractor has appropriate safety precautions in place before any work resumes at this site.”
