As summer continues, there are still several more day camps for youth who have completed 3rd grade or above.
- Photography Basics Day Camp, July 11-15, 9 a.m.-noon is for youth who have completed 3rd grade or higher. Participants will learn the basics of operating film and digital cameras, how to store digital files, printing techniques and photo composition through hands-on activities in the classroom and outside.
- Become a Food Hero, July 18-22, 9-11 a.m. is for youth who have completed 4th grade or higher. Participants will cook a variety of foods, play nutrition games and enjoy tasting their efforts.
- Art Around the World July 25-29, 1-4 p.m. is for youth who have completed 4th grade or higher. Participants will create and experience art from around the world. This day camp will be led by Tillamook County Juntos teens.
All three day camps will be held at the OSU Extension Office in Tillamook. The cost for each is $45.00, plus the 4-H enrollment fee for those not currently enrolled in 4-H. The camp fee includes all supplies. Participants in each day camp will have the opportunity to exhibit something in 4-H at the Tillamook County Fair.
