– Reptile Man
3 p.m. at the North Tillamook Library on 571 Laneda Ave, in Manzanita. Back by popular demand, The Reptile Man will bring along his snake and lizard friends for you to hold and touch…if you’re brave enough! This is a free event.
– Manzanita Farmer’s Market
5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cascade Sotheby’s Realty Parking Lot, 467 Laneda Ave (intersection of Laneda Avenue and Fifth Street) in Manzanita. The market will feature the freshest locally grown produce and flowers and many wonderfully unique handmade products. There is also live music! – Pickle Ball
9 a.m. at Manzanita City Park. Get an introduction to the fastest
growing sport in America. Local homeowner Peter Shianna will explain the simple rules of pickle ball, demonstrate strategy and answer any questions you have. Balls and paddles will be provided.
– Manzanita Beach Microplastic Clean-Up
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Neahkahnie Beach in Manzanita. Volunteers will join Marc Ward and his Blue Wave team to screen harmful microplastic. Microplastic is the name for the confetti-like bits that coat the beach’s high tide line, where people walk barefoot, kids play and dogs frolic.
– Juneteenth Reggae Festival
