Tillamook County United Way has currently secured $8,000 in donations and pledges towards the 2016 campaign goal of $50,000.
Remember, you can care for kids, strengthen families, assist people in crisis, encourage self-sufficiency and promote health and wellness by making just one donation today!
Donations through TCUW impact the work of 17 different agencies working to help people of all ages throughout Tillamook County. TCUW does the due diligence of certifying member agencies through an application review process as well as allocating general funds. People, businesses and foundations that donate through TCUW can know that their dollars are being used as wisely as possible throughout Tillamook County. It is estimated that the agencies receiving TCUW funding provide vital services that touch the lives of 16,000 Tillamook County residents each year.
The annual campaign includes a number of ways to participate:
• Direct donation by cash or check to TCUW; Credit card donations can be made through our website: www.tillamookcountyunitedway.org. Donations can be designed to specific agencies; general fund donations are allocated to agencies through an application process in February each year.
• Internal campaigns: Several employers in Tillamook County, including Tillamook County Creamery Association, Tillamook Regional Medical Center, the County of Tillamook, all three school districts, along with many of the 18 members agencies run internal campaigns, which offer the convenience to employees of giving to Tillamook County United Way agencies through payroll deduction, as well as by cash and check.
Federal employees can find TCUW in the CFC catalog. TCUW is also registered with the Charitable Fund Drive for State of Oregon employees.
• Mailings – look for inserts with October PUD bills for giving
information, as well as letters being mailed to businesses and individuals.
