North Fork 53 celebrated its grand opening with a spectacular farm-sea-to-table feast on October 10th.
The North Fork 53 Farm Store will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. “We will also open a weekday if folks request it,” said owner Ginger Edwards. “We carry Community Supported Fishery tuna, halibut and salmon, Nehalem River Ranch and Lance’s Farm Vittles grass fed beef, pork, lamb and chicken, and R-evolution Gardens and Kingfisher Farms organic produce.” She continued, “We also carry value added products such as pesto, pickles, apple sauce, tomato sauce and other products from the farm. In addition we have hand made goat milk soaps, incense, cards, art and lots of other seasonal goodies available such as baked goods, herbal tea blends, ready to eat foods, fresh from our farms to local tables.”
North Fork 53 will host a free Community Open house and tour on October 24th from noon- 3 p.m. Featuring a pumpkin carving contest (winner gets a free stay for two at North Fork 53) and healthy Halloween treats for kids, tours of the property and farm store specials!
