North County Recreation District adds new group fitness classes

North County Recreation District has added a new group fitness classes to the schedule beginning this fall.  The new classes are as follows:
• The Mix, Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm:  Challenge your body increasing your strength, endurance and coordination.  You’ll build core strength, joint mobility, flexibility and balance.  Like working indoors or outdoors?  We’ll do both.  Sports training, stair work, obstacle course, intervals, weights, partners and group training will all be a part of the curriculum.  Don’t just do the same old routine, MIX IT UP!  All levels welcome.  Free to fitness members/$75 per term.  Instructor:  Ty Mautner.
• Pilates/Barre, Wednesdays, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm:  Beginner-friendly class with emphasis on the principles of lengthening, strengthening and flexibility exercises to tone your core, body and to improve posture.  Adding barre techniques to maximize conditioning and balance.  Free to fitness members/$45 per term.  Instructor:  Rosa Erlebach.
A free coupon is available for anyone interested in trying out these classes.  Redeemed coupons will be entered in a drawing for a complimentary one-month Fitness Membership.  Class participation is required to be eligible for the drawing.  Coupons are available online at www.facebook.com/ncrd.org or at North County Recreation District Administration or Fitness Center Offices, 36155 9th Street, Nehalem.
